London Clubs International to assist our members and their guests to establish how accessible the Casino at the Empire is for people who have decreased mobility or a sensory impairment.

Car Parking

The Casino at the Empire has no dedicated car parking facility or valet car parking service.

Disabled parking bays are available in the Whitcomb St, Masterpark car park and we have a have a discounted rate available to customers who park there. Simply bring the barrier ticket to our cash desk and pay a standard charge of £10. You will then be given a ticket which will allow you to exit with no further payment required. This represents a significant saving if you are parking for more than 2 hours.

Westminster City Council have details of other parking facilities in the area.

Main Entrance & Reception

We have two entrances:

The Leicester Street entrance leads directly to our reception and has as an accessibility lift for wheelchair users and well as escalators.

The Leicester Square entrance, which does not extend to reception, is normally used only for pre-registered access to the poker room and stairs must be used to access the rest of the Club.

There are induction loops at all reception and cash desks.

Internal Access

The Casino at the Empire has:

Lifts between floors

Table service in gaming areas, bars and restaurants

Lowered sections at bars and cash desks

Toilets

Signposted and fully fitted accessibility toilets are located throughout the Club.

Means of Escape

The emergency evacuation systems are audible. There is a management procedure to assist any disabled members or their guests during an emergency.

We aim to assist all persons to leave the Club but there are also designated ‘refuges’ available where this proves not to be possible.
