Rake
The rake is the commission taken by the house in a game of poker. The amount of rake taken depends on a number of factors such as the size of the pot, the number of players and the type of game being played but the rake never exceeds 3 units per hand, where a unit is USD, GBP, EUR or TYL – whatever currency the table is in.
In tournaments, the buy-in is displayed in the form €10 + €1 which means €10 goes into the prize pool and €1 rake is taken. A raked hand is any hand you play at a cash table where you place a bet and the pot is sufficiently high for the house to collect rake. The rake taken is displayed below where the $ sign represents the base currency of the table which can be USD, GBP, EUR or TYL:
